During the early stages of pregnancy the body undergoes enormous change,
both physical and energetic. My treatments offer a combination of massage and
shiatsu techniques aimed at supporting the Mother during this time and specifically
aimed at assisting the body in accepting the new baby.
During later stages, the 'space' that treatment sessions provide can be used to
address minor ailments such as sickness or breathlessness or simply to allow
pre-birth bonding to take place in a relaxed environment.
In the run up to birth, I can show birth partners acupressure points and massage
to assist you in labour.
A typical session will consist of some massage to the muscles which are affected
by pregnancy, some work on the lower back, some relaxation techniques
(including visualization) and a little time to show you any exercises which I feel
